Help center to the victims of Maidan decided to establish the Fund of Help to the Victims of the Maidan.

The second coordination meeting of the Center expanded the range of its partners and goals which it puts in front of it.

The Partners of the Centre decided to take responsibility for helping the families of those who were killed and injured at Maidan.

The goals of the Centre were divided into two groups:

- urgent help here and now;

- organization of long-term and long-lasting system of support of the families of those who were killed and injured.

To achieve these serious goals and ensure the highest possible transparence of help application from such a great number of people the Centre decided to establish The Fund of Help to the Victims of the Maidan (final name will be agreed). All raised on behalf of the Centre facilities will be directed to the Fund. The transparence and accountability of the Fund will be granted as by the Supervisory Board and Professional Management, the staff of which will be announced soon, and also by international accounting firm.

The objectives of the Fund are the following: creation of the list of those who were killed and injured at Maidan (the full list of those people doesn’t exist yet), forming of social passport of the families of each killed and injured person, and, based on identified needs, providing of social escort and individual support to each family.

All facilities of charity marathon “Heavenly heroes” on 5 Channel will be used exclusively for the needs of the families of lost heroes. The facilities will be managed be The Fund of Assistance to the Victims of the Maidan.

Support to the victims and injured and also support to the families of killed soldiers of ‘Berkut’ and Internal Forces, will be accomplished by the Fund by virtue of other donors.
